If you choose to upgrade your account to the paid account, you will be forwarded to the ShareIT website where you can place your order. The information entered there is subject to ShareIT's Pricacy Policy. ShareIT will not hand out your credit card information to us. After ShareIT processed your order and received full payment, they will provide us with your name, graphical information and an order reference record as generated by the ShareIT service.

When using Phoice, your browser will automatically send information to Phoice. This information contains your IP address, the page you request and your global browser information (e.g. Microsoft Internet Explorer). This information is automatically recorded by the server logs and will be used by Phoice to analyze the coverage and intensity of the Phoice service. These analysis may result in improved future service and is used in an agregated form; e.g. 80.2% of the visitors use Internet Explorer. This information will not be sold, leased, rented or otherwise handed out to third parties.

Your information is stored on our system, which is protected by sophisticated firewall systems. These servers are located in a secure environment behind locked doors. Access to this server room is given only to a few authorized employees. All employees who have access to your personal data are bound to silence with regard to third parties.

When you register with us, your personal information and other data will be stored and processed in The Netherlands and this information may be subject to the laws of its jurisidictions.

Security

We invest in protecting your information by utilizing state of the art security technologies. We have implemented technology and security policies, rules and measures to protect the personal data that we have under our control from: unauthorised access, improper use, alteration, unlawful or accidental destruction, and accidental loss.

IP Addresses

IP Addresses are automatically reported by your browser each time you view a web page. Phoice will store your IP-address when you first register and every subsequent time you log in to your account. This information may be used to:

A. Diagnose problems reported by our users or engineers that are associated with the IP addresses controlled by a specific web company or ISP.
B. To analyse the users visiting Phoice from specific geographical regions.

Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, that is sent to your browser from a web site's computers and stored on your computer's hard drive. You can configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set. If you reject all cookies you may not be able to take full advantage of the Phoice service. Phoice uses its own cookies for the purpose of automatically logging you in once you specify to be "remembered" by Phoice. The cookie contains your user name and an encoded version of your password.

Advertisers or other entities do not have access to Phoice's cookies.

Our Web sites include links to third party Web sites that are governed by their own privacy statements, and we are not responsible for their operations, including but not limited to their information practices. Users submitting information to or through these third party Web sites should review the privacy statement of these sites before providing them with personally identifiable information.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

When you post an opinion or message, your Phoice member name is visible to other members. If you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other visitors in return.

Phoice does not hand out, rent, lease or sell your personal information.

Phoice does not share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies without your consent except to provide products or services you've requested and in the following circumstances:

Phoice may be required to disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas, warrants, court orders or legal process or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;

It may be necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities, including without limitation, fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Phoice's terms of use, or as otherwise permitted or required by law. We will transfer information about you if Phoice is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Phoice will notify you by email or by putting a prominent notice on the web site's front page before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy. No personally identifiable information will ever be used without your permission (i.e. we will ask you for a quote or testimonial).

Editing Account Information.

You can change your Phoice Account Information, at any time. We may send you certain communications relating to the Phoice service, such as service announcements and administrative messages, that are considered part of your Phoice account. You will not receive communications with third party content.

You can not fully delete your Phoice account; however, you will be able to remove all your uploaded photos from the web site, causing your account to become invisible on the web site. The account will remain part of the Phoice database and will be used for agregated analysis; like 2.8% of our members stopped using Phoice after they first registered.

Your Phoice Account Information is password-protected. In certain areas, Phoice uses SSL128-encryption to protect data transmissions. You can use a fully secure Phoice environment at https://www.phoice.com
